Future You Scholarship
In July 2022 Birmingham and the West Midlands will host the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, transforming the city and leaving a lasting legacy for years to come. The Games will create unprecedented opportunities for our city and region, as the eyes of the world turn to Birmingham.
To celebrate Aston University becoming an Official University of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games we are offering 100 postgraduate scholarships of £2,200 to UK students starting their course in September.
To secure a scholarship you must hold an offer for one of our full time, on campus MA or MSc programmes starting in September 2022.
When you receive your offer you can apply for the scholarship through your My Aston Portal (MAP) account, where you will be asked to provide a 500-word personal statement on how you will benefit from the opportunities provided by Aston University and the city of Birmingham during your postgraduate studies.
This scholarship is a discount from your tuition fees and cannot be combined with any other Aston University scholarships. This means that Aston University graduates are unable to receive this scholarship in addition to the Aston University alumni scholarship.
The NEW deadline for applications is 15th September.
