Aston Business School

14 March 2012 - Aston Business School

Aston Business School is pleased to announce a workshop on the above theme. The workshop is being organised as part of a collaborative research project between Aston University, UK and Dhaka University, Bangladesh funded by the British Council under its INSPIRE (International Strategic Partnership in Research and Education) scheme.

The project focuses on “Corporate Reporting and Embeddedness of Environmental and Climate Change Issues in Bangladesh”. The project investigates the reporting practices of Top100 companies on the Dhaka Stock Exchange. In addition case studies of UK multinationals operating in Bangladesh and their domestic counter parts were undertaken. Finally, it examined stakeholders’ perceptions by undertaking a series of stakeholder interviews with representatives of international agencies, NGOs, professional bodies and business associations.

The purpose of this workshop is to disseminate findings of the project and also to widen the debate to the context of emerging economies by having a panel discussion on this subject.
This is a free event but registration is required. Please register using the booking form below.
