The university Business Partnership Unit (BPU)
operates at the commercial edge of University research and teaching. It
caters for both internal and external clients' needs through patenting,
licensing and creating spin-out companies based on selected research
innovations. It also facilitates a means of acquiring funding through
various channels, as well as accessing the extensive knowledge base
within the University.

subject group have a strong tradition of interaction with industry. You
