Our dedicated teams are here to support you with a variety of services tailored to your needs. Whether you're seeking one-on-one counselling, guidance from our chaplains representing all faiths and non-faith perspectives, or a space to unwind and connect with fellow students, we’ve got you covered.

For students who experience mental health challenges, financial crisis, housing instability, relationship breakdown, or any other situation that impacts their health and safety, our Welfare and Safeguarding team responds with individualised care to help address the issues.
The Welfare and Safeguarding team is comprised of registered healthcare professionals, meaning our Advisers are qualified, licensed, and experienced in providing mental health interventions, assessing risk, and collaborating with other teams to ensure holistic, student-centred support. Our team holds credentials in psychiatric nursing, social work, and psychotherapy.

We provide advice and support to students who have a physical or sensory disability, neurodiversity, specific learning differences or long-term health conditions.
These can be in the form of adjustments to exams and coursework deadlines, support around campus, or access to assistive technology.

Our chaplains offer pastoral support for staff and students. The team are here for those of all religious backgrounds or none at the University.
The Aston University Chaplaincy team is based at the Martin Luther King (MLK) Multi-Faith Centre, located in the centre of campus.

A safe and welcoming community is our top priority. We believe that for students, staff, and visitors to excel at Aston, our physical and digital spaces must be inclusive and accessible for everyone.
The Campus Safety Team ensures that the campus is safe and provides prompt, professional support 24 hours a day. Our SafeZone app provides a direct line to the Campus Safety team and enables them to instantly locate the caller’s whereabouts on campus.
