Course outline and what you will study

The overall aim of this module is to develop your understanding of how health behaviours are predicted by health psychology theories. The content uses key health behaviours and applies theories that have been used frequently to predict these behaviours. For example, using the Theory of Planned Behaviour model to predict exercise. Theories are assessed for their usefulness in predicting health behaviour.

The module forms part of the MSc Health Psychology (online and on-campus), which was commended by the British Psychological Society (BPS) for its support for students.
