Research Degree Programmes

Choosing to study for a research degree in health and life sciences at Aston University will give you the opportunity to become part of a world-class research community alongside leading academics.

In 2014, 94% of our Allied Health Professions research achieved 3* and 4* (the highest rating) impact in the Research Excellence Framework (REF), the system for assessing the quality of research in UK higher education institutions. Find out more about REF at Aston.

We offer an extensive range of Professional Doctorate and PhD opportunities that cover subject areas including audiology, biosciences, neuroscience, optometry, pharmacy and psychology.
