In November 2022, Aston Institute for Health and Neurodevelopment (IHN) held our third molecules to minds public lecture ‘From gobbledygook to goblins: how does a child learn to crack the written code?'
Leading on from last year's lecture, we share insights from Dr Pamela Wadende (Senior Lecturer in Education at Kisii University, Kenya) and our research collaborators Edutab-Africa as they discuss how families bridge the distance between home and school in rural Africa. Thank you to Dr Laura Shapiro, Dr Pamela Wadende and Patrick Njoroge for their input.
