The Aston Neuropsychology Laboratory contains a suite of facilities designed for the assessment of an individual's cognition, and behaviour. A neuropsychological assessment is a test to measure how well a person's brain is working in a given domain. Some abilities that can be tested include reading, language, attention, learning, and processing speed.

Our neuropsychology assessment rooms have child -friendly designs. Many of these rooms have two-wall mounted Pan, Tilt, Zoom dome cameras, and two boundary microphones for the observation and recording of human behaviour. These can be used to record assessment visits to aid subsequent scoring and secondary scoring by additional researchers.
