The Shropshire Leadership Programme: Small Business Growth through Innovation is a fully funded initiative developed to help you improve your leadership skills, enabling you to foster innovation and drive business growth.

Through the program, you'll not only gain the confidence to make informed decisions but also acquire the tools and strategies necessary to boost productivity and resilience.

Here's what the program offers:

  • Gain invaluable insights from experts in small business leadership and management through interactive workshops.
  • One-to-one mentoring to help you tackle your business challenges.
  • Build a targeted action plan for your business with support from experts.
  • Develop connections with other ambitious business leaders.
  • Peer-peer learning allowing you to tap into collective knowledge and experience.
  • Access to an Innovation Voucher grant to support your business’s growth.

Programme Participation
  • The programme is suitable for businesses that are in their early-stage with identifiable growth potential
  • The applicant (you) should be the founder or the CEO of the business, and be the person who is responsible for driving the growth of the business
  • Your business must have an operational address in the Shropshire area (postcode specific)
  • Your business needs to have been trading for at least 12 months
  • The applicant must be a sole trader, micro business, small and medium-sized enterprise, or large business. It also includes social enterprises where these engage in economic activity
  • Participants need to make a significant commitment of time and effort to engage with the opportunities provided and are required to attend all workshops.
