Birmingham has become the latest city to join a global network of design and digital consultancies set up to solve real world challenges through effective problem-solving. 

An Aston University-led consortium has secured funding from the West Midlands Combined Authority’s (WMCA) UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) to support businesses in the West Midlands to reduce their environmental impact and rising energy costs.

The event, hosted by the University’s Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive, Professor Aleks Subic, brought together more than 70 business leaders and other senior figures from across the city and region including guest speaker Andy Street, Mayor of the West Midlands.
