Congratulations on your offer to study at Aston Business School. This page will be your offer holder information hub which you can return to whenever you need. You will find lots of information on this page about Aston and support and advice from our teams to help you on your journey to University. We are very proud to be ranked 22nd in the UK in the Guardian University Guide, 2023. Our Students’ Union has been rated 8th in the UK in the 2022 What Uni League Table, which is based on votes from more than 30,000 students across the country.

Your offer holder day

Join us on campus to meet our lecturers, discover what it is like to be a student here and find out about student life in Birmingham from the people who know it best: our staff and our students. During this event, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about admissions, accommodation, our placement year and job prospects as well as have a taster lecture and a campus tour.

Our Offer Holder Days are taking place on:

Wednesday 28th February - On campus event

Saturday 9th March - On campus event

Here's what to expect from your day:

Welcome Talk - An insight to the benefits of studying at Aston University. You will also hear about our Placement Year and find out more about the different options you have.
My Aston Experience - Interactive session where you can hear from current students about life at Aston. This will include an informal Q&A session with a panel of students ranging from first to final year.
Q&A Session - This will be a great chance for you to discuss your course in more depth and ask any questions you may have.
Taster Lecture - The taster lectures have been designed to give you an outlook of what it would be like to study at Aston University by attending a lecture.

Careers and Placements

It's proven that taking a placement year helps improve your employability which is why our business courses have a compulsory professional placement year for all UK students. This also includes the option to undertake an international study placement. This year is optional for international students however, we encourage every student at Aston University to take one.
