Aston University’s Careers Service has been ranked 11th in the UK in the StudentCrowd University Awards – a rise of seven places from last year – recognising the transformative support the careers and placements team delivers for up to three years after graduation.

The university’s award-winning team work closely with industry professionals and employers from across the globe to source placement and graduate opportunities for students. They also support students with developing the skills and experience they need to choose the right career path and stand out​ in a competitive job market.

Aston’s commitment to student success and maximising employability means that the university is top 20 for graduate salaries (2024 Longitudinal Education Outcomes) and has been recognised as the Daily Mail University of the Year for Student Success 2025.

The 2025 StudentCrowd University Awards were based on 32,097 verified student reviews and are designed to celebrate the best student experiences across the country.

Based on student reviews, Aston also ranked 11th for wifi and internet, 15th for job prospects and 19th for its students' union.
