  • 2021 StudentCrowd University Awards place Aston University #12 for job prospects
  • StudentCrowd is the only award for UK universities solely calculated on student reviews
  • Winners selected based on analysis of 19,323 reviews


Aston University has been ranked #12 for Best UK University for Job Prospects in the 2021 StudentCrowd University Awards. 

StudentCrowd is an independent award based on students’ experiences and the only award for UK universities which is purely calculated on student reviews. 

Winners were selected based on their average review score over the 24-month period from July 2019 to July 2021. A total of 19,323 university reviews were analysed across 11 different categories that students rated out of five stars. 

Aston University graduates have an average salary of £33,400 after five years, which is well above the national average and the 20th highest median salary five years after graduation (source: 2021 Longitudinal Education Outcomes data). 

Saskia Loer Hansen, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) at Aston University, said:
