Creating a Culture of Innovation in the Workplace will be held on Tuesday 4 April 1700 - 2000 hrs at Aston Business School.

This will be the second networking event by the Aston Centre for Growth. Each month, like-minded businesses have the chance to connect, share insights and stay up to date with the latest trends and topics in the world of business.

The event will feature a keynote address by Damini Sharma, CEO and co-founder of The OM Group, a respected business leader who has achieved great success in fostering innovation at the company.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops and panel discussions with other industry experts.

The event aims to help businesses of all sizes discover how to foster a culture of innovation in their workplaces.

Kate Angel, head of business support operations at Aston Centre for Growth, said:

“I am looking froward to welcoming our guests to campus on 4 April.

“Innovation is the key to staying ahead in today's fast-paced business environment.

“This networking event will provide attendees with insights to create a culture of innovation that will drive growth and success for their organisations.

“We have created the #ACGNetwork to foster a community of like-minded ambitious business leaders and business support providers.

“The network will provide insights from business leaders on current and disruptive trends that are important to all SME leaders now.”

Dr Georgiana Rusu, who took part in the first event of the series, said:

“As a business development manager for Warner Surveys in the West Midlands and ex research academic, I found the Aston Centre for Growth Networking event extremely engaging, informative, inspirational, and well attended, which can only reflect upon the University’s high standards and progressive values, its outstanding personnel, and their commitment to fostering growth through innovation in the region.”

Jake O’Connor, founder of Mammoth Mythics and key note speaker from the first event, said:

“We had a great time speaking at Aston Centre for Growth: Network event at University on Tuesday 7 March.

“As a start-up gaming company, we got to show how far we've come and talk about the challenges we faced, such as the stigma surrounding the Web 3.0 space. We met some interesting people and answered tough questions.

“Speaking with and educating the business community about the future of gaming technology and how that will have a positive impact on the future whilst remaining resilient. We can’t wait to speak again in the future.

The event is open to all business leaders, managers and entrepreneurs who are interested in learning about the latest strategies and best practices for fostering innovation in the workplace.

Tickets are available here, and early-bird registration is encouraged.
