Aston University has a proud network of Global Ambassadors, made up of international students who share their story and experience of studying at Aston with others around the world.
Global Ambassadors represent Aston University in many different ways, such as attending events and Open Days, making videos and posting on social media, and speaking to people about what life is like as an international student at Aston.
The Global Ambassador scholarship is for students who want to be the future face of Aston University. We are looking for students who can represent us on the global stage and tell future generations of students what Aston is like. You will be proud, passionate and a great communicator. You must be a keen user of social media with ambitions to become an international social media influencer. As well as receiving the scholarship, you will also be given priority consideration for paid work with the international marketing and recruitment team, which will provide valuable work experience.

How much is this scholarship worth?
Successful applicants will be awarded £5,000 to help with tuition fees. Successful applicants are required to become a Global Ambassador and will help to represent Aston University flexibly alongside their studies.
As well as receiving the scholarship, you will also be given priority consideration for paid work with the international marketing and recruitment team, which will provide valuable work experience.
Who can apply?
International students from any country (including the EU). This scholarship is available for students applying to undergraduate (excluding Medicine) starting in September 2023.

This scholarship will be awarded to students who demonstrate the enthusiasm, pride and ability to represent Aston University and share their experience with others.
How do I apply?
To apply for a scholarship, you will need to apply for and receive an offer for an Aston University course first.
Scholarship applications open on key dates throughout the year, and we will share information on how to apply closer to those dates.
You will be asked to create a 1 minute video to answer the question - "Why did you choose to study at Aston University?'

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
You can only receive one scholarship but you are able to apply for multiple scholarships. If you are successful in being awarded multiple scholarships, the highest value scholarship will be awarded to you. Scholarships will automatically be credited to your student account in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
