International Scholarships

We're investing over £1 million in scholarships to help you achieve your career ambitions here at Aston University.

We have a range of international scholarships to recognise your academic, professional, and personal experience. There are three main levels of scholarships, which are open to all international students.

Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship 

This is our most prestigious scholarship of £8,000, available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. We are looking for the most outstanding students who have achieved exceptional academic results and can demonstrate a passion for their subject through professional work experience, volunteering, or extracurricular projects and activities. You will meet the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Alec Cameron, and receive invitations to exclusive events.

Global Ambassador Scholarship

This scholarship of £3,000 is for students who want to be the future face of Aston University. We are looking for 25 students who can represent us on the global stage and tell future generations of students what Aston is like. You will be proud, passionate, and a great communicator. You must be a keen user of social media with ambitions to become an international social media influencer. As well as receiving the scholarship, you will also be given priority consideration for paid work with the international marketing and recruitment team, which will provide valuable work experience.

Global Excellence Scholarship

These automatic scholarships of between £2,000 and £5,000 are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students who achieve high grades. If your current or predicted qualifications meet our criteria, you will be offered a scholarship automatically to recognize your hard work. All you need to do is apply for your chosen course, and if you are eligible, you will receive a scholarship offer alongside the offer for your course.
