Aston Award - for MSc and MA degrees

For January 2025, you could benefit from a personalised Aston award worth up to £10,000*.

How does the award work?

The £10,000 Aston award combines an Automatic Early Acceptance discount of up to £3,000 plus one Aston Award scholarship (highest eligible value) worth up to £7,000

Automatic Early Acceptance Discount - up to £3,000

The sooner you confirm your decision to choose Aston University by accepting your place, the more we can support you, and ensure that your arrival on campus is as smooth as possible.

International students who receive an offer to study with us in January 2025 are eligible for an automatic discount of up to £3,000. No additional application is necessary; the discount will be applied when you enrol. 

Key Information: 

  • £3,000 fee discount: Accept your place and pay your deposit by 20th September 2024 
  • £1,500 fee discount: Accept your place and pay your deposit by 20th October 2024
  • £500 fee discount: Accept your place and pay your deposit by 20th November 2024 

This offer is time-sensitive. For the maximum £3,000 discount, we encourage you to apply early for January 2025 courses. Don't miss out on this opportunity to save on your tuition and secure your place at Aston University.

Please note: the maximum £3,000 Early Acceptance Discount is available for a limited time only and cannot be granted if the student has requested and been granted an extension to accept the offer. Once the date passes, the amount available reduces until the 20th November when the scheme expires.  

Aston Award Scholarships 

Automatic Merit Scholarship - £3,000

We aim to attract the brightest and best students to our practical, industry relevant degrees. If you achieve the equivalent of a UK upper second class (2:1) degree, you will automatically receive a £3,000 scholarship. There is no need to submit a separate application, your eligibility will be assessed by our admissions team when your application is reviewed.

If you also accept your place and pay your deposit before the deadline, you can also claim your automatic up to £3,000 Early Acceptance Discount bringing the total possible fee reduction to £6,000.

This scholarship is available to all international students. Eligibility criteria for certain countries is listed in the table below. This scholarship recognises Sir Adrian’s values and contributions. As a Civic University we are looking for students who are committed to making a difference, who will take the learning and experience gained on their degree to make a positive impact in their communities internationally.

The Sir Adrian Cadbury Chancellor’s Scholarship comprises of a £7,000 fee reduction and exclusive opportunities for networking and self-development, including opportunities to meet VIP business leaders, attend exclusive events with the Vice-Chancellor Professor Aleks Subic and attend games at Aston Villa FC.

To be considered for this scholarship you must submit an application in the form of a one minute video, introducing yourself, and explaining why you should be considered for the scholarship.

If you also accept your place and pay your deposit before your deadline you can also claim your up to £3,000 Early Acceptance Discount*, bringing the total possible fee reduction to £10,000. If you are eligible for any of our automatic scholarships you will instead be awarded this scholarship as it is the higher value award.

The Vice-Chancellors Enterprise Scholarship awards one full (100%) and two partial (40%) scholarships for students looking to start their own business when they graduate.
