Global Pathways
We want to make sure the brightest international students are an integral part of our community.
Since 1987, NCUK has helped over 30,000 international students gain access to university.
You have a choice of over 80 study centres worldwide to study the skills and qualifications you need to succeed at university, including the language preparation module, English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
Please contact Jane Dunn via email for more information on applying.
You can study the NCUK International Foundation Year and gain entry to the first year of our undergraduate degrees.
You can also study the NCUK International Year One programme and gain entry to the second year of the following programmes:

You can study a pre-Master’s programme and gain the qualifications and skills you need to study a Master’s programme at Aston.

These are for students who are studying on an NCUK Pathway Programme in the current academic year. All NCUK students are eligible to apply for any of the Aston International Scholarships available if they meet the criteria, but in addition to these we have the following NCUK dedicated awards available this year:
North-East Asia – £5,000 Scholarship (6 available) Sub Saharan Africa – £5,000 Scholarship (6 available) UK – £5,000 Scholarship (6 available) General – £5,000 Scholarship (6 available)
What happens next?
If your application is successful, you will be awarded £5,000 to help with tuition fees.
We will contact you by email to let you know if your application was successful. Please note, we will communicate scholarship decisions 2 weeks after each deadline date. If you have any further questions, you are welcome to contact us Jane Dunn.
You can only receive one scholarship but you are able to apply for multiple scholarships. If you are successful in being awarded multiple scholarships, the highest value scholarship will be awarded to you. Scholarships will automatically be credited to your student account in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
To apply for an NCUK Scholarship, you will need to apply for an eligible Aston University undergraduate and postgraduate first. Once you have received an offer to study an Aston University course, you can then log into your My Aston Portal (MAP) account, where you will find a link to the scholarship application form. Details on how to access your MAP account can be found in your offer email.
You have the option to submit either a 1-minute video or a 400-word personal statement. Details of the brief for the video and personal statement are below:
Please create a 1-minute video to answer the question - “What skills and attributes do you consider you have to make you a good role model, and how will you use your study at Aston to get the best out of yourself and succeed in your aims and aspirations?”
