Country information 

English Language Requirements

For entry onto an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree a grade of C6 or higher is generally accepted from English Language in the Zimbabwe General Certificate of Education (ZIMSEC).

For entry onto the MBChB a minimum grade of C4 in English Language in Zimbabwe General Certificate of Education (ZIMSEC) is required.

Undergraduate

Students who have Zimbabwe General Certificate of Education (ZIMSEC) will be required to complete our International Foundation Programme.

For entry to the International Foundation Programme, we would require an average of eight subjects at C6 and above. This must include subjects that are relevant to the degree programme. 

You should have a minimum of Grade C6 in ZIMSEC in English language. If you cannot show that you have obtained this grade in English, then you can provide us with an IELTS or TOEFL qualification.

International Foundation Programme

If you don’t quite have the entry requirements for an undergraduate degree, you can study our International Foundation Programme, which has options available in Business, Social Sciences, Engineering and Science.

Postgraduate Master's

You should have a degree from a Zimbabwean university with a high percentage or GPA. 

If you are applying for finance, engineering or science based subjects, you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.

The Business School has a number of conversion courses that accept students from any subject background. 

Postgraduate MBA

You can apply for the MBA programme with an undergraduate degree in any subject area from an overseas institution and with three years minimum post-graduation managerial work experience.

Postgraduate Executive MBA

You can apply for the Executive MBA programme with an undergraduate degree in any subject area from an overseas institution and with a minimum of five years post-graduation managerial work experience. T

his programme takes 2.5 years in total and is taught in blocks of six days at a time. It requires the commitment of the student to travel to the United Kingdom six times per year.
