Students who have completed the Tot nghiep pho thong trung hoc (Secondary School Graduation Exam) will be required to study on our International Foundation Programme, which has streams available in Business/Social Sciences, Engineering, and Health Science/Science.

Students who have completed their Tot nghiep pho thong trung hoc (Secondary School Graduation Exam) will be required to complete a recognised Foundation Programme.
For entry to the Aston International Foundation Programme (IFP), we would require a minimum average of 7.5 - 8 for years 10 – 12. Individual subject marks may also be required as well as evidence of your English language ability.

You can apply for a Masters with an undergraduate degree from a recognised Vietnamese university.
You should have at least an overall average of 7.5+ (out of 10) from a recognised Vietnamese university. The specific requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the Vietnamese university from which you have graduated.
If you are applying for finance, engineering or science-based subjects, you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.
You can apply for the MBA programme with a recognised undergraduate degree, in any subject area, and a minimum of three years post-graduation managerial / professional work experience.

Vietnam Regional Scholarship of £7,500.
To be eligible, applicants must be a resident of Vietnam and hold an offer to study at undergraduate or postgraduate taught level at the Aston University, Birmingham campus for September 2025, January or April 2026. This is an automatic award and no application is required.
If you complete your deposit payment by 30 April 2025, you will be eligible for a £7,500 scholarship. If you have not made your deposit payment by this date, you could still be eligible for a £6,000 scholarship.
Excluded programmes: MBA, OSPAP, MBChB, Physician Associate, Adult Nursing and Mental Health Nursing programmes
Please note: Scholarships cannot be combined. Students are awarded the highest value scholarship available to them.
