You may be eligible for a waiver on the English language requirement if you have successfully completed your Standard 12th qualification with an Indian National Board such as Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE/ISCE) or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and have scored a minimum of 75% in Standard 12th English.
However, students studying the below curriculum may be eligible for a waiver from taking the English Language Test.

While students who have successfully completed their Standard 12th qualification with the Nepalese National Examination Board (NEB) cannot get a waiver on the English language requirements, you can take one of the accepted English Language Qualifications listed on our English language requirements page.
Students who are not eligible for undergraduate studies starting Year 1 may apply for a one-year International Foundation Programme and then progress to an undergraduate programme. After successfully completing a pathway programme, students are guaranteed entry to an undergraduate programme (Integrated CAS Route) at Aston University.
Alternatively, you could also explore our International Year One pathway with OnCampus for progression to Year Two if your grades are marginally under our direct entry requirement.

ONCAMPUS Aston takes place within Aston University's campus so students can enjoy all of the facilities available to university students.
We accept students with International School Qualifications such as IGCSE, and IB for direct entry onto our Undergraduate programmes in addition to one of the Indian National Boards such as Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE/ISCE) or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Nepalese National Education Board (NEB). The equivalent entry requirements for the Indian and Nepalese qualifications as below are in line with the international qualifications as on the respective course pages under the ‘Entry Requirements’ section.

Some programmes’ entry requirements might have specific GCSE (equivalent Standard 10th requirements) as well and will be stated in the ‘Entry Requirements’ section of the programme page. The GCSE equivalencies are as follows:

If the programme of your choice has additional subject requirements, this will be assessed at the time of the assessment of your application. All Undergraduate applications have to apply to Aston University via UCAS.
If you are not eligible for direct entry, you can follow the International Foundation or the International Year One route above to progress to an undergraduate degree programme of your choice at Aston University.

If you have an Undergraduate Diploma or a Higher National Diploma and wish to progress to a Masters programme at Aston University, you may study the OnCampus Aston Graduate Diploma as a route to one of our Postgraduate programmes.
Students who hold a Bachelors Degree, but are not eligible for direct entry on a postgraduate programme may apply for a one-year Pre-Masters and then progress to postgraduate study.
