HKDSE English language overall score of 4 with no skill component score below 3. Specific programmes may require higher skill component scores.

We will consider you for Undergraduate study if you have a complete HKDSE with at least 2 electives, where grades between 444-555.

If you have a higher diploma or an associate degree from a recognised Hong Kong university/college, with GPA of 3.0/4.0, we may consider you for direct entry to the second year of an undergraduate degree.
You can apply for a masters programme if you have a good undergraduate degree (2:2 or higher) from a recognised university. The specific GPA requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the university from which you have graduated.
If you are applying for finance, engineering, science or social science-based subjects you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.
If you are unable to meet the direct entry requirement to Aston University, you can also consider the Master Foundation Programme/Graduate Diploma at ONCAMPUS Aston.
A minimum of three years’ work experience with at least an undergraduate qualification from a recognised university, or a minimum of 5 years’ work experience with HKDSE level (or equivalent) qualification.
You can apply for a research programme if you have a good Masters degree (2:1 or higher) from a recognised university. The specific requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the university from which you have graduated.
You have to submit a detailed research proposal outlining your intended research topic, its objectives, proposed method of research and an indication of how the proposed research topic relates to previous work by other researchers.
