Students graduating from China with ACCA papers F1-F9 will receive an English Language Requirement waiver. Students will have to do a mandatory online pre-sessional English course with our partner, InterGreat, and a mandatory in-sessional English course offered through CELCA at Aston University during their degree.
If you have achieved an average of 60 per cent in your Senior High School Leaving Certificate you may be considered for ONCAMPUS ASTON which will help you to progress to Undergraduate study.
We will consider you for Undergraduate study if you have a complete A-Level with grades between BCC-BBB or equivalent grades in International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) and NCUK.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree from a Chinese university.
The specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston, and the Chinese university that you have graduated from.
In general applicants should be scoring:
2:1 China full-time Bachelor's degree | 75 - 80 average grades |
2:2 China full-time Bachelor's degree | 70 - 75 average grades |
If you are applying for finance, engineering or science-based subjects, you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.
Self-taught degrees: we will accept self-taught degrees (with both graduation and degree certificate) of 70% from Project 211/985 universities; and 75% from non-211/985 universities.
If you are unable to meet the direct entry requirement to Aston University, you can also consider the Master Foundation Programme/Graduate Diploma at ONCAMPUS Aston.
You must obtain a satisfactory degree from a recognised Chinese university with at least 3 years of work experience.

In order to apply to a research degree at Aston, you should have a Masters degree from a Chinese university. The specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the Chinese university from which you have graduated.
In general applicants should be scoring in the range of 75-85 per cent average as a minimum.
You have to submit a detailed research proposal outlining your intended research topic, its objectives, proposed method of research and an indication of how the proposed research topic relates to previous work by other researchers.
