Students who hold Thanwiya are not eligible for undergraduate study, but can apply for a one-year International Foundation Programme and then progress to undergraduate study.
Students who have been awarded Thanawiya will be required to complete a recognised Foundation Programme.
You can apply for year 1 of a Bachelors degree with a 2-year Diploma/Certificate.
Applicants holding the Higher Diploma may be considered for Year 2 entry of relevant programmes. We normally look for average GPA of 3.0/5.0 as a minimum.
Some degree programmes, such as engineering, sciences and languages, require specific subject backgrounds.

You can apply for a Masters programme with a four-year undergraduate degree from a recognised Emirati University.
You should have a GPA of 3.0/4.0 overall or above from an Emirati university. The specific requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the Emirati university from which you have graduated.
If you are applying for finance, engineering or science-based subjects, you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.
You can apply for the MBA programme with an undergraduate degree, in any subject area, from an overseas institution and a minimum of three years post-graduation managerial work experience.
You should have a GPA of 3.0/4.0 overall or above from an Emirati university.
You can apply for the Executive MBA programme with an undergraduate degree, in any subject area, from an overseas institution and a minimum of five years post-graduation managerial work experience.
You should have a GPA of 3.0/4.0 overall or above from an Emirati university.
This programme takes 2.5 years in total and is taught in blocks of 6 days at a time. It requires the commitment of the student to travel to the UK 6 times per year.
All PhD applicants need to contact the research groups direct with their individual research proposal.
