Undergraduate programmes
  • Students with Diplom-e Mottevasseteh graduating in or after 2019 will be considered for entry for Year 1 at Aston with a minimum of 16.9 or above, depending on the subjects studied and individual grades in pre-requisite subjects and grades.  
  • Students with 15 or above in their Peeshdaneshgahe will be considered for Year 1 entry to Aston, depending on the subjects studied and the grades achieved. 
  • If you have a different qualification, please contact us at international@aston.ac.uk for an evaluation. 
Postgraduate Masters

Students require at least 13/20 in the percentage point system from state or public universities, or at least 14/20 in the percentage point system from private universities, for entry onto a Masters programme.

If you are applying for finance, engineering or science based subjects, you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.

Postgraduate (MBA)

You can come from any subject background but should have at least 13/20 from a university and a minimum of three years post-graduation managerial work experience, as stipulated by the Association of MBA (AMBA) requirements.

Postgraduate Research

All PhD applicants need to contact the research groups direct with their individual research proposal.

Iran Regional Scholarships and International Scholarships

Aston University Iran Undergraduate Scholarship

Value: £3,000

Deadline: 8th June 2023

Eligibility criteria: Self-funded undergraduate students who have made Aston University their firm choice. Must be resident of Iran.

Aston University Iranian Health Sciences Scholarship

Value: £3,000

Deadline: 15th June 2023

Eligibility criteria: Postgraduate offer holders of either Pharmaceutical Science / Drug Delivery / Pharmacokinetics / Psychology / MPH who are UF (conditions cleared and deposit paid) by 15th June. Must be resident in Iran. 

How to apply: Please submit a 1-minute video on why you have chosen to study this course at Aston, which module you are most looking forward to and why. 

Aston University Iranian TESOL Scholarship

Value: £3,000

Deadline: 15th June 2023

Eligibility criteria: MA TESOL offer holders resident in Iran who are UF (conditions cleared and deposit paid) by 15th June

Aston University Iran Marketing Scholarship

Value: £3,000

Deadline: 15th June 2023

Eligibility criteria: Postgraduate offer holders of either MSc Strategic Digital Marketing, MSc Strategic Marketing Management, MSc Marketing and Analytics, resident in Iran. Must be UF (conditions cleared and deposit paid) by 15th June. 

How to apply: Please submit 400 words on an English-language marketing campaign and why you believe it was successful

Aston University Future Engineering Manager Scholarship

Value: £3,000

Deadline: 15th June 2023

Eligibility criteria: Postgraduate offer holders of either Construction Management and Engineering  / Engineering Management who are UF (conditions cleared and deposit paid) by 15th June. Must be resident in Iran.

How to apply: Please submit 400 words on the importance of management in the engineering/construction sector.

Aston University Iranian Ambassador Scholarship  

Value: £5,000

Deadline: 15th June 2023

Eligibility criteria: All postgraduate-taught offer holders who are UF (conditions cleared and deposit paid) by 15th June (except OSPAP, MBA and online programmes). Must be resident in Iran.

How to apply: Please submit a 1-minute video on why other students from Iran should study at Aston. Shortlisted candidates may be interviewed in late June.
