Canada

English Language Rerquirements

Students who are applying for a course at Aston may be eligible for exemption from taking an English test. Students from British Colombia need to provide a grade from their Senior Secondary Graduation Diploma 83% in English.

Undergraduate

You can apply for entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree after graduation from the Canadian High School Diploma awarded after 12 years of education.

Admissions tutors are generally looking for an overall average of between 60 – 80%, dependent on the provincial scoring system.

Engineering, Medical and Science subjects will require specific subjects and grades, but students from any stream can apply for courses in Aston Business School.

Postgraduate (Masters)

You should hold at least a GPA of 3.3, numeric grade of 77 or above, or B+ degree from a Canadian university and again the specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the university from which you have graduated. 

Postgraduate Research

Each of Aston's Schools of study has a number of research groups with the potential to host PhD students.

All PhD applicants need to contact the research groups directly with their individual research proposal.
