Working with industry to develop a highly skilled workforce in Audiology
A Degree Apprenticeship programme in Healthcare Audiology at Aston can offer several benefits to both the apprentice (your employee) and your business:
This is a 15-month work-based Degree Apprenticeship programme. This programme creates a pathway to becoming an audiologist. Successful graduates of the programme will meet the National Occupational Standards for Associate Practitioner in Audiology within the NHS, and for Hearing Aid Dispenser in the private sector. Both groups can register with the Health and Care Professions Council to work as Hearing Aid Dispensers.
This is a 4-year work-based programme. Student apprentices work while studying part-time towards a National School of Healthcare Science accredited certification.
This is a direct entry into the final year of our Healthcare Science (Audiology) Degree Apprenticeship BSc (Hons) programme, is designed specifically for student apprentices who have previously completed the Foundation Degree in Hearing Aid Audiology FDSc at Aston University, or a similar course at a recognised UK institution.
