Pharmacy Staff

Academic staff within the School come from a variety of backgrounds, including healthcare professionals from pharmacy and nursing, along with healthcare scientists and neuroscientists. In addition, we have a team of specialist technicians supporting our teaching and research activity.

Head of Aston Pharmacy School: Dr Joe Bush

Joe is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Joe teaches public health and evidence based practice across the MPharm and OSPAP courses, and his main areas of research interest are focussed on pharmacy’s public health function, pharmacist professionalism, service evaluation, medication adherence and pharmacy education.
