Companies that were able to grasp the global megatrends of the world-wide-web, cloud computing and smartphones have risen to become some of the world’s biggest organisations. In the early 1990s, Sony was the biggest tech company. However, a series of mistakes and missed trend opportunities saw it’s position fall, and it now ranks 44th globally.

Speaker Biography:

Koji runs GVE Ltd., one of the fastest growing fintech company based in japan. 

He has a successful investment track record especially in fintech companies since 2000.  His hedge fund won the fund of the new funds in 2005 from the Asia hedge.

He is based in Oxford, and is a special strategic advisor to the Paediatrics Department of Oxford University (which owns Oxford Vaccine Group) since 2016. 

He received Dark Blue Ribbon Medal from the Government of Japan in 2001.  Guest speaking includes Haas Business School, Columbia, Harvard and LBS on investment banking, private equity and hedge funds.
