In the event hosted by our New Delhi Alumni Chapter and our India Office, we are excited to welcome our Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) Saskia Loer Hansen, who will share the latest International strategy and University news to keep you up to date. We are also excited to welcome Aston alumnus and Co-Founder of BluSmart Taxis, Punit Goyal, who studied an MSc in International Business at Aston Business School and graduated in 2008to share his career journey after Aston. This virtual event also offers our alumni in India and current students looking to work in India a great opportunity to connect with former classmates, recent graduates, current students and extend your local network.

Speaker Profiles

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) Saskia Loer Hansen is responsible for business and civic engagement, international and marketing, development and alumni relations, and for the University’s student support functions. Prior to this appointment, Saskia held the role of Pro-Vice-Chancellor International at Aston University. This role covered responsibility for the University’s internationalisation agenda, delivering successful international student recruitment, inbound and outbound student mobility, opportunities for international research funding, and engagement with partners, sponsorship agencies and government officials across the world.

Our host, Gaurav Brahmbhatt, completed his MBA at Aston Business School and graduated in 2011, Alongside his role as chair of the Alumni New Delhi Chapter, Gaurav is the Vice President of Health Care at Home India Pvt Ltd.

Joining us to share his career journey, Punit Goyal is the Co-Founder ofBluSmart Taxis, India's first and largest zero-emission ridehailing service with a mission to build mobility smarter, safer, cleaner and more sustainable for a better future.Since his graduation from Aston in 2008, Punit has always had a keen interest in renewable energy running two successful alternative power energy businesses before his latest venture.
