The learning experience for me as an international student has been empowering and interesting. The quality of education is excellent, the people and lecturers are accessible and supportive to students and the university offers other development opportunities, which are career-focused.

The facilities at Aston are one of my best! Every part of the University is conducive to learning and designed to give students a comfortable and enriching educational experience. My favorite facility in the school is the Library and the student union building. However, every facility is top-notch, from the Hub, the lecture rooms/halls, computer laboratories, internet, accessible toilets, and clean restrooms, filtered cool drinking water, to the accommodations, sports facilities, Aston vision, and green campus social areas.

How has your experience been adjusting to life in the UK and at Aston University?

Adjusting to life in the UK and at Aston University initially presented some challenges, particularly since I arrived UK in the winter, understanding the public transport system, and finding accommodation. However, the induction sessions organised b were enlightening and provided valuable guidance for making the most of my studies. It soon became clear to me that a lot of personal study and making use of the extensive academic resources and books are required to excel in my studies.

Aston University offers extensive resources and support facilities to ensure students succeed. Aston Student Homes helped me connect with an off-campus landlord to secure accommodation. Additionally, the Aston career team provided valuable advice on structuring my CV to find a part-time job, offering personalised support through appointment sessions.
