All students eligible to attend are invited to book a place at a ceremony.
To attend the graduation ceremony you must have passed all elements of your study programme and have these agreed by the appropriate Examination Board. All outstanding debt will need to be paid to be eligible for graduation. To query outstanding debt, please contact fin_operations@aston.ac.uk.
You should not wait for your results before completing your registration task. If you miss the deadline to book we may not be able to allocate you to a ceremony with your course friends or faculty.
Degree certificates are dispatched within 6-8 weeks from the date of conferral of your award to your home address. Please contact Student Records if you have not received your certificate. Transcripts are sent separately upon request therefore please contact your College if this is required or raise through the OnlineShop: Transcripts | Aston University Online Store.

Our ceremonies will be held at the Eastside Rooms, Woodcock Street, Birmingham, B7 4BL.
Attendance at your graduation ceremony is optional. You will still receive your certificate and transcript in the post.

Yes, your degree will be valid, and you will receive your degree certificate in the post. Degree certificates are dispatched within 6-8 weeks from the date of conferral of your award to your home address. Please make sure that your home address details are up-to-date on My Aston Portal (MAP).
