Guest tickets

How many tickets do I get?

All graduands are guaranteed two free guest tickets for their ceremony. However, you must book these when the graduation registration portal becomes live. If there are extra tickets available we will contact all graduands to let you know how and when you can book these additional tickets. 

How do I book my two free guest tickets?

You can book your guest tickets when registering for your graduation. 

When will I receive my guest tickets?

You will receive your guest tickets one to two weeks before your graduation via email. 

Additional Guests

For any additional guests we would like to remind you that each ceremony will be broadcast live and streamed onto campus into designated rooms. Attendance or entry for the live streaming does not need to be booked through the booking system.

What if my guests are bringing children?

Children under the age of five years will not be permitted into the auditorium (regardless of whether you have managed to obtain a guest ticket for them) as these ceremonies are not suitable for young children. Any guest above the age of seven will require a guest ticket to enter the auditorium. Please indicate your chosen preference of 0, 1, 2 tickets at the time of completing your registration task, in no circumstances can a child be seated on a guest’s lap. Any guest under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult not participating in the ceremony.

What if I am planning to attend my ceremony without any guests?

You can choose to book no tickets for your ceremony. 

Ticket fees

You are entitled to two free guest tickets, but they are non-transferable and cannot be sold or passed on to a third party. 

Any guest tickets obtained without permission will be voided including any tickets sold or passed on to a third party.

Admittance to the auditorium is strictly forbidden without a ticket and there are no overflow facilities at Eastside Rooms.
