2025 Graduations

Winter graduation, 20 January 2025

Our winter graduation will be held on 20 January 2025 at Symphony Hall, Birmingham. Our one day of ceremonies is reserved for those who have completed a postgraduate qualification or a degree apprenticeship (including undergraduate degree apprenticeships). We will be in touch shortly with your official invitation and information on how to book your robe, photography and tickets.

Summer graduation, July 2025

Our 2025 summer graduation ceremonies will take place in July 2025 at Eastside Rooms. Ceremonies will take place between Tuesday 15 to Tuesday 22 July, not including 19 and 20 July. We will inform you of your specific graduation date and time in April 2025. Our summer graduation ceremonies are reserved for those who have completed up to an undergraduate qualification. 

Please note that in the event of Aston University’s graduation ceremonies being cancelled, delayed or postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of the University, we will give as much notice as is reasonably practical to students of such cancellation, delay or postponement. The University cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred by our graduates or their families if ceremonies need to be cancelled, delayed or postponed. Circumstances beyond the control of the University may include any incident that renders the venue in which the Degree Congregation is due to be held unsafe to use or which means that we are unable to deliver the event.  This may include, for example, fire, flood, pandemic, industrial action or a period of national mourning.
