Aston University Professor Jill Poole Memorial Lecture Series

A series of lectures delivered annually by members of the legal profession and hosted by Aston Law School.  Each lecture is held in memory of Aston Law School’s first Dean of Law, Professor Jill Poole, and focuses on a topic or an issue within commercial law.

Professor Poole was Dean of Aston Law School from 2009 until she died in 2016. She published widely on commercial law, including multiple editions of textbooks on contract law with Oxford University Press, and was recognised as an inspirational teacher, scholar, and mentor.
