Why did you choose Aston University?
I initially chose Aston University because of the course and conditions they offered. As the University has a well-known business school and they offered a placement as well it was exactly what I was looking for.
What did you enjoy about your undergraduate course?
I liked how the lectures and modules were set up as well as all the support we received. One of the things I enjoyed the most was the placement year as I had the opportunity to work abroad.
Why did you choose to stay and do your masters with Aston University?
I chose Aston University because I had such a good experience during my undergraduate course, and I knew I would be able to get all the support needed to do well during my postgraduate degree too.
What is special about Aston University?
Aston University is so welcoming and diverse.
Are you a member of any clubs/societies?
During my undergraduate course I was part of the basketball team. As well as regular training sessions we also had regular socials where we could bond and until today, I have kept amazing friendships from this.
What did you like about living in Birmingham?
I liked the fact that it’s a big city, very diverse and you can always find new things to do as well as meeting new people.
What are your career ambitions for the future?
After I finish my masters I want to gain more experience so I can then start my own business.
What advice would you give to a current Aston undergraduate student thinking about studying for a masters with Aston University?
Do it! Aston university staff are always there for you with the best support and facilities even during these difficult covid-19 times. It’s a different experience that I believe you will enjoy.
