Module partnership
Engage with our postgraduate students

Aston Business School is offering you the opportunity to engage with our postgraduate students, and receive research-informed suggestions for solving business issues that you pose to the students.
Partnership requires you to do just 3 things:
To give continuity to the process, we would like businesses to commit to engage with partnership for a minimum of 2 years. This would be the academic years 2019/20 and 2020/21. You can present the same business issue each year if this is most convenient.
In return for getting involved you get a range of interesting solutions to the business issue that you explain to the students. Students will be applying their teaching, which is based on the latest research. You will also get the opportunity to see the students’ work, which will give you the opportunity to identify potential recruits for your organisation.
All of our modules are either taught from September to December or from January to April. When you are matched with a module you will be told when that module is due to run. Students will be able to take up the offer of a placement after the Easter vacation.
Each of our postgraduate degrees has 8 taught modules. In addition, students are required to complete a business project. The degrees have a mix of core modules (that everyone taking a particular degree must complete) and optional modules. The modules relate to the degree specialisms, which are:
