What it's like to be an Aston MBA student
The MBA Business Challenge
Aston MBA students work on real-life business challenges. They work on live projects, putting their skills to real-world industry problems. In particular, they undertake a key business challenge which is a key module within the MBA programme.
One of the most recent projects was with Verb Bands, a luxury digital agency based in London, New York, and Shanghai. Verb Brands were looking to expand their market internationally, with MBA students looking at strategies to do this in key identified countries.
In recent years, our MBA students have been privileged to work on an exceptionally diverse range of projects, with just a few examples including:
MBA teams have also worked on a wide variety of opportunities through the curriculum, including a partnership with the CYBG and Virgin Money Greenhouse Programme, and outside the curriculum via the Aston Business Clinic and Global Business Challenge. These experiences add immense value to our students, and fully realise our ethos of learning by doing. Indeed, several recent graduate success stories include students who have secured roles with Deloitte, Unilever, Accenture Interactive, Slalom Consulting, and many more besides.
At Aston we are proud of the quality of our teaching, and most importantly, our inspiring academics, who work with our students along their MBA journey.
