Full-time MBA Scholarships
Recognising and supporting outstanding students
As part of our application process you will be invited to an MBA interview. The interview is an opportunity for us to get to know you, and for you to ask us anything about our MBA programme. During the interview we will also assess your suitability for a scholarship.
We offer MBA scholarships to candidates who demonstrate the potential to make a transformational impact on the MBA cohort and a global impact through their subsequent career.
All scholarships are awarded on the basis of a recommendation to an award panel after interview. The criteria to be considered for a scholarship are:
(Candidates must demonstrate at least two of these three criteria):
1. Evidence of very strong academic performance (at least Upper Second Class Degree or equivalent)
2. Evidence of considerable management experience of at least seven years
3. Strong evidence of a mindset, attitude and skill set which will contribute to the MBA cohort.
Gold Scholarships of £12,000 will to a small number of outstanding candidates. We are looking for:
Silver Scholarships for students of £6,000 will be awarded to candidates who are assessed as excellent. We are looking for:
In addition, we will be offering a few Aston 2030 scholarships. These are equivalent to Gold Scholarships (£12,000).
The applicant has provided evidence via application and interview that they have increased the diversity and inclusion within an organisation over a period of normally at least seven years. Further corroborating information may be sought.
The applicant has demonstrated via application and interview that they have set up, run and grown a business over a period of normally at least seven years. Further corroborating information may be sought.
The applicant has demonstrated via application and interview that they have used their role within an organisation to transform that organisation in terms of growth, sustainability and intrapreneurship over a period of normally at least seven years. Further corroborating information may be sought.
MBA applicants would also be eligible to apply for the Vice-Chancellors Enterprise Award.
No applicant may be awarded more than ONE scholarship.
