Scholarships and similar support projects offer financial breathing space, allowing those with fewer means to commit fully to their studies and to university life. With little chance of parental assistance and with rising costs outstripping wages from part time work, finances often drive the decisions that some students make. Whether to pursue a particular placement. Whether to use their time for revision or employment. Whether to socialise with classmates or stay in their rooms. These choices will be felt for a long time to come, and not just by them. Aston students are the next generation in science, industry, business and healthcare. Your help lets them to make the best choices.
