Why did you choose Aston University?

I chose Aston Business School because of the university reputation and graduate employment rate. Also, the Aston MBA course offers modern business modules and practical teaching style which made Aston university outstanding from other MBAs.

What did you enjoy about your Aston MBA?

I enjoyed the experience of learning in practices along with bright people along the journey. Being surrounded by supportive and intelligent colleagues, lecturers, and staffs made my Aston MBA even more pleasant. In addition, the opportunities to exchange abroad and business case competitor with talents were memorable events of the journey.

What else did you get involved in while you were here?

There were many ranges of opportunities to get involved here at Aston University. One of the best experiences was being an exchange student at the Copenhagen Business School to study the Fundamentals of Management Consulting module which has changed my life. I had an opportunity to participate in the WBS Case Challenge 2019 and our team made it to the Finals of the challenge. It was a great experience to enhance my knowledge and connect with MBA candidates from around the UK. Lastly, I was a Student Representative for Full-Time MBA class 2018/2019 with Bronze Recognition Award. Involving in extracurricular activities helped to promote my communication skills and expand my network in the university community.

What did you like about living in Birmingham?

I loved the atmosphere of the city and its liveliness. As Birmingham is the UK’s second biggest city, it has so many to offers from innovation hubs to historical attractions.

What is special about Aston University?

Aston University offers everything I can ask for especially for international students. The university provides excellent supports not only in the educational aspect but also in personal development and well-being perspectives. These easily made Aston University be ‘University of the Year 2020’ by the Guardian.

What do you miss the most about studying at Aston?

People and the lively atmosphere are the things I miss the most about studying at Aston.

What did you do immediately after you graduated?

After I graduated, I focused on pursuing my desired career path as number one priority. In addition, it was also important to reflect on my development during the MBA journey.

What is your current job (position and organisation)?

My current position is a part-time management consultant for an SME company in Thailand. The position lasts until the end of January 2021 before I will be starting a new role as an Analyst at Deloitte at the end of February 2021.

What do you enjoy about it?

I enjoy tackling challenges and diversity at work including projects and people. Working in a management consulting offers intellectual challenges and opportunities to learn and grow at the same time and I find these are enjoyable elements in my professional life.

What are your career ambitions for the future?

My greatest ambition in the career is to make an impact in the business world as an effective management consultant who is able to help clients solve business problems with practical solutions.
