Information for Prospective Students

The Student Recruitment and Outreach team conduct evaluations at our events to gain an understanding of your career aspirations and knowledge of higher education. The data may also be shared with other organisations to help us track your educational progress. The organisations we would like to share data with are: your school, your local authority, the National Pupil Database, UCAS, the Higher Education Statistics Agency, who deal with admissions to higher education and HEAT, which collects data on attainment and admission to higher education.

This research will help us support more young people in the future. We will process your data for these purposes on the basis of the University’s legitimate interests. Any data we collect will be used to support the improvement of our activities and to see how our activities benefit learners. The data provided on this form will be processed in compliance with UK data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
