Inspiring Women @ Aston

One way to help people to succeed is through the development of networks. Inspiring women at Aston is a network aimed at developing and supporting women to achieve.

 

 


 

Who we are?

We are network of people who meet regularly, both in person and virtually, informally and adhere to Chatham House rules to ensure confidence of the group.

What do we do?
  • A responsive, safe space for discussion and the development of networks in a dynamic way (Chatham House rules apply)
  • Invite guests and speakers with interesting and motivational stories to tell
  • Look for opportunities to enhance the lives and careers of women
Who it is for?

All staff, from any part of the University community, who are interested in the discussion and support of women through networking.

Activities

We have regular breakfast meetings and virtual lunchtime meetings on different days to make networking as accessible as possible. Anyone is welcome to join us and there is no need to book. We advertise sessions through Aston Connects and a Teams link for the virtual sessions can be accessed by emailing us.

International Women's Week

We coordinate activities for International Women's Week that occurs in March each year. If you are organising a session, or would like to be involved please email us so we can coordinate the activities.
