Professor Zoe Radnor
Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean for the College of Business and Social Sciences
Professor Zoe Radnor is the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean for the College of Business and Social Sciences at Aston University. Previous to this, Zoe has held the roles of Deputy Vice-Chancellor at The University of Law (ULaw) and, at City, University of London, where she was Vice-President for Strategy and Planning; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Professor of Service Operations Management. Before her role at City, Professor Radnor was the inaugural Dean of the University of Leicester School of Business. Prior to that, she was the Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching) for Loughborough University in London, leading on the curriculum design and learning environment for the new postgraduate campus.
Zoe’s research interest is in performance and process improvement and service management within public sector organisations. She has led research projects for a number of government and healthcare organisations, evaluating the use of ‘lean’ and associated techniques, and continues to maintain a strong ongoing research profile. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (FAcSS) and of the British Academy of Management (FBAM).
She also sits on a number of boards, including the Athena Swan Governance Committee for Advance HE, Southern Universities Management Systems (SUMS), and the editorial boards for the International Journal of Production and Operations Management (IJOPM) and Public Money and Management.
