Aston Student Advice Point

Whether you're moving away from home for the first time, or are returning to full-time education, student finances can seem a little daunting. It's important to us that your time at University is as enjoyable, productive and worry free as possible, so there are plenty of places you can go at Aston for advice on money matters.

Our friendly and experienced Financial Assistance team offers Aston students information on a number of different funds, trusts and bursaries, they can apply to for financial support.

In the Students' Guild, the Advice & Representation Centre (ARC) offers an extensive independent information, advice and representation services to Aston students. The team's expertise covers a wide range of areas, including tuition fees, financial worries, maintenance grants and bursaries.

Assistance with unforeseen financial hardship
Additional financial support from the Access to Learning Fund may also be available to UK students. Assessments are carried out according to guidelines laid down by the Government. Students with childcare costs, disabled students and students from a low-income background are given priority.
