Aston Access to Professions

Access to the Professions

Organised jointly by Aston University and top employers in the West Midlands, our employer engagement events give students access to the professions, with real life examples of companies and individuals that have shaped our city and how they too can become part of there ever growing success.


Taster sessions SRO

Taster Sessions (formerly known as masterclasses)

Our taster sessions provide stimulating workshops from Aston University academics at the forefront of their subject area. These sessions offer a great opportunity for students in Year 9, 10 and 11 to enrich their current studies and to discover more about studying at university.


Pre 16 Guest Lectures

Guest Lectures

Informative, stimulating and at times controversial – Aston University is once again hosting their Chemistry Guest Lectures for students in Years 7 - 10 to experience.


Subject specific

Subject Specific Conferences

Each year Aston hosts a range of subject specific conferences. These typically run between 1pm-4pm in a range of subjects including Maths, English and Science.
