My Future My Birmingham

My Future My Birmingham

My Future My Birmingham is a pioneering Widening Participation programme, showing students how to forge successful careers in Birmingham.

Brought to you by Aimhigher West Midlands and the universities of Birmingham, students are invited to attend a series of employer related events throughout the city. Students will get an insight into real life examples of companies and individuals that have shaped our city’s history and had an impact on the UK’s economy. They will also have the chance to learn how they too can become part of this ever growing success.

Events delivered by big brands in Birmingham

Each event will be designed to broaden students' understanding and awareness of the range of employment opportunities for them in the city.

Students will gain insights to the essential soft skills, which top employers are looking for. In particular, the programme encourages students to discover the exciting opportunities in the world of work.

You can download the full programme of events at Aston University, Birmingham City University, Newman University and University College Birmingham below.

How to apply

Please note, places are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis. Each university will process the bookings for their individual events - contact details for each institution and how to make a booking can be found on the programme. Please also be aware of the student criteria for these events as below.
