Excellent grades from your secondary school (or equivalent), and a valid IELTS result from an approved UKVI test centre. 


Once you have successfully completed this programme, you will be able to progress onto an undergraduate programme.

The foundation year offers the opportunity for a wide range of people with different qualifications to enter the challenging and exciting world of science and subjects allied to medicine. 


Prepare for academic study and provide the fundamental skills to become a professional scientist. Provided suitable grades are achieved at the end of the course, progression onto a degree programme is guaranteed.
