We welcome applications from students with disabilities and aim to enable you to make the most of your time here, whether you have a physical, sensory or hidden disability, mental health or specific learning difficulty. Your application will be considered on academic merit, but it is helpful if we know in advance about any support needs you may have.
We strongly advise you to notify us of any disability or support needs via your UCAS form. Your Admissions Tutor can advise you on the structure and content of the study programme you are interested in.
A copy of your application will then be sent to the Disability Co-ordinator, who may ask you for additional information relating to disability issues only. We may invite you for an interview so you can see the campus and discuss arrangements in advance. A recommendation for your support requirements will then be made to the academic department which teaches your chosen course.
We warmly welcome prospective students who would like to visit the campus, before or during application. Please contact the Disability Co-ordinator to arrange a visit or for further advice or information: 0121 204 4711.
