MA in Translation in a European Context

''I chose Aston because the MA in Translation in a European Context programme combines both theoretical and practical modules. The quality of teaching was excellent and the support as well. What I also liked very much was that quite a few lectures were held by people working in the translation industry so that we students could get some insights into the real working life.

I completed the MA in Translation in a European Context at Aston in 2010. Now I'm a Translation Co-ordinator at the major accounting firm Ernst and Young in Germany where I benefit from the language skills and experiences I gained at University. My job is varied and I enjoy being in contact with many different people (both clients and translators).''
