    We offer a range of postgraduate and graduate-level courses that will enable you to develop your knowledge, expand your skills and enhance your career. We offer both full-time and part-time courses.

Our belief is that research should always be practical, relevant and feedback into your education. By always focusing on the latest and most impactful research, we produce fresh and industry informed curricula that prepare you for the jobs market or further study. We offer a range of financial support packages to assist Life & Health Science students with the cost of tuition fees and living expenses.

    Course Types

    We offer a variety of different course types that can be studied after completing an undergraduate degree:

    Professional Doctorate
    This substantial course will enable you to be at the forefront of your academic discipline through taught and research elements
    Master of Science (MSc)
    Known as an MSc, this is a 180 credit masters level qualification, typically involving a research project or dissertation
    Postgraduate Diploma
    Known as a PgDip, this is a 120 credit masters level qualification
    Postgraduate Certificate
    Known as a PgCert, this is a 60 credit masters level qualification
    top up module
    Undergraduate level modules that allow you to “top up” your degree with modules in additional topics
    Standalone modules and CPD
    Modules and courses which may be taken alone or alongside other modules, typically as part of Continuing Professional Development
    Professional accreditation courses:
    Courses delivered by Aston University to prepare you for professional examinations, such as those required to join the GOC Therapeutics Register for Independent Prescribing
    Graduate Diploma
    An undergraduate level qualification for those that have already obtained a degree
